This icing mix will give your pies and fruit cakes a pastry-shop finish.

Instructions - For a pie for 5/6 persons:
In a saucepan dissolve 25 g of sugar in 125 ml of water. Add the contents of an envelope. Stir until completely dissolved. Bring the mixture to boil, keep at a low boil for 1 minute. Spread the mixture evenly over the cooled pie with a soft brush. The glaze sets within 1 hour at room temperature and 15 minutes in the refrigerator.

  • Shelf life: up to 18 months in original, tightly closed packaging, protected from light and moisture.
  • Ingredients: Sugar, thickener: pectin, acidity regulator: citric acid, lemon flavour, anti-caking agent: silica dioxide.
