Before starting this Strawberry Jam recipe, make sure you have organised all the necessary ingredients.
In a saucepan, place the strawberries (which have been stemmed and thoroughly washed beforehand). Add the sugar.
Squeeze the lemon juice.
Add the lemon juice to the strawberries and sugar.
Combine with a spatula.
Cook over medium heat...
... and bring to a boil.
Cook for one hour over a gentle boil.
When cooked, pour the boiling strawberry jam into clean glass jars. Close the jars with a lid and flip them over. Leave the jars upside down until the jam has cooled down completely. This will ensure a natural sterilisation process.
