Before starting this Praline Marble Cake recipe, make sure you have organised all the necessary ingredients.
In a mixing bowl, place the castor sugar.
Add the melted butter...
... and combine until smooth.
Add the eggs one by one...
... then add the baking powder and salt.
Transfer 1/3 of the preparation into a separate bowl.
Add the praline paste to the bowl...
... and combine well.
Slightly grease a loaf cake tin.
Pour some vanilla preparation at the bottom of the mould.
Cover with the praline preparation...
... then pour the remaining vanilla preparation on top.
Stir the two preparations with a knife, creating swirls.
Bake at 180°C (gas 4) for 40 or 45 minutes.
When cooked, remove from the oven...
... then release from the mould and transfer on a cooling rack. Leave to cool.
Spread some melted glaze on the surface of the cake, then sprinkle caramelized hazelnuts on top.
