To make this apple clafoutis recipe, start by preparing all the ingredients.
Preparing the pan: Place a 22cm round cake mould on a sheet of baking paper and trace the outline of the pan base with a pencil.
Then cut out the baking paper disc with a pair of scissors, trimming 2 to 3 mm inside the line so the disc fits snugly into the pan.
Check the disc size by placing it into the bottom of the pan. It should not rise up along the sides.
