These whole steamed chestnuts were grown, harvested, and processed using a method specific to the Périgord company Inovchataigne. The process includes cold peeling, trimming (manual removal of any defective fruits), weighing, vacuum bagging, steam cooking, heat treatment (sterilization), and packaging. These steps ensure the freshness and preserve the organoleptic and nutritional qualities of the chestnuts.

Chestnuts are an essential ingredient for holiday recipes, and they can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. Whether in baking for pasta, creamy dishes, cakes, or in savory cooking to accompany stir-fried vegetables, meats, or soups, this 200 g packaging is convenient and helps avoid waste.
