These Tahitensis vanilla pods come from Papua New Guinea and are processed using a method verified by Prova. A team of sensory experts and chefs collaborates to deliver exceptional vanilla products.
This delicate vanilla offers powdery, fruity, and spicy notes, with a floral and aniseed-like character that surpasses traditional Tahitian vanilla, often complemented by hints of plum and orchid.
Rare and highly prized by chefs and gourmet enthusiasts, Papua New Guinea vanilla pods are ideal for subtly flavouring creams, espumas, and desserts.
Directions for use:
Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with the tip of a knife. Add both seeds and pod to a liquid mixture (approximately 1 pod per litre).
Gently heat to 70°C for 20 minutes, then allow to cool. For a more intense flavour, leave the mixture to infuse in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
