Ferme du Gros Caillou's apple balsamic vinegar is made from 100% Normandy apples: a blend of concentrated apple must and cider vinegar.
Seven litres of apple juice and one litre of cider vinegar are needed to make one litre of Velours de balsamique.
They are slowly reduced in a cauldron over the course of a month.
No sugar or colourings are added.
A 100% natural product, milder and fruitier than traditional balsamic vinegar.

"Le Velours" apple balsamic vinegar is perfect with salads, meat or fish carpaccio, scrambled eggs, and can also be used for deglazing.

It won the Epicures Gold Award in 2024 and the Agri-Food Trophy for the 'Jury's Favourite' in 2025
