Virgin argan oil is produced using traditional methods.
It is obtained by first cold pressing the kernels of the argan tree, a tree native to south-western Morocco.
Before being pressed, the kernels are lightly roasted to bring out their full flavour.
Its golden colour is accompanied by a taste with notes of lightly toasted dried fruit. It is mainly used raw, as a seasoning or finishing touch, to accompany salads, vegetables, couscous, fish or meat, in both traditional recipes and more modern cuisine.
