Vijaya organic candied ginger comes from the mountains of Wanzai County in south-eastern China.
The root is carefully selected to ensure it is not too fibrous and that the candying process makes it soft and tasty.
The candied ginger pieces can be eaten as they are or added to sweet or savoury dishes.
