Cousin of the Sichuan and Timut peppers, Batak pepper originates from the Samosir Island in northern Sumatra (Indonesia) and is technically not a "true" pepper.
This pepper will surprise you with lemony and floral notes.
Grilled, crushed or infused, this pepper is a great addition to chicken, fish and seafood, but also in pastry to chocolate and fruit.

Grind your pepper straight from the tub with the convenient grinder head attachment.
You can also create your own mix using an empty tub.
