Clear and golden, with the delicate taste of spring, this organic acacia honey is the bees knees!
Produced by bees from the nectar of the wild flowers of the acacia tree, this honey is harvested late May in the forests on the foothills of the Pyrénées in south-western France.
Acacia honey is a great ingredient in pastry recipes, particularly as a sugar substitute. It also pairs well with savoury ingredients such as duck or lamb and a nice addition to dressings.
We were delighted by the quality of the honey produced by bee-keeper Jean-Pierre Gogny in the French Basque country.
