An exceptional red pepper, not to be missed!
This pepper grows on wild vines and is harvested every year in March when it has reached peak ripeness and when the green peppercorns are starting to turn red.
Harvested and sorted by hand, the peppercorns are then dried in the sun for a week.
This dark red variety has intense fruity flavours with citrus notes and will pair perfectly with meat, but also in desserts with fruit and chocolate.
The Kampot Dark Red Pepper was granted the IGP label (Protected Geographical Indication).
