Before starting this Tomatoes Provençale recipe, make sure you have organised all the necessary ingredients.
Place the parsley leaves on a chopping board...
... and finely chop with a knife.
Repeat the same operation with the garlic cloves. Combine with the parsley.
Place the persillade in a mixing bowl and add the breadcrumbs. Combine and set aside.
Cut the tomatoes in half.
Place them on a baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle the mixture over the tomatoes.
Pour a dash of olive oil on top.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas 4) and bake for 10-15 minutes.
When the cooking is complete, remove from the oven. This recipe is ideal as a side dish, served with meat or grilled fish.
