Apple Pie Alsacienne

Apple Pie Alsacienne

Ingredients for Apple Pie Alsacienne :

  • 200 g shortcrust pastry
  • 5 to 6 apples
  • 150 g liquid cream
  • 75 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • vanilla sugar
  • icing sugar

Technical stages for Apple Pie Alsacienne :

  • Make a shortcrust pastry. Store in the fridge.
  • In a bowl, cremer the eggs with the sugar.
  • Add the flour and the cream last. Add a bit of vanilla sugar to flavor the preparation.
  • Roll out the shortcrust pastry and line a fluted silicone tart mold.
  • Peel, seed and cut the apples in quarters.
  • Place them on the base of the shortcrust pastry.
  • Coat the apples with the mixture that was previousely obtained.
  • Bake in hot oven 180°C for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • When finished, remove the tart from the oven and leave to cool a bit before unmolding.
  • Sprinkle with icing sugar just before serving. Serve cold or warm.
