Technical stages for Greek style Leeks :
- Clean the white part of the leeks and tie together into a bunch. Boil them. Refresh and drain thoroughly.
- Empty the tomato sauce in a pot. Add the red wine salt, pepper, laurel, thyme, capers and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Reduce the sauce for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, remove the string that holds the leeks and put them in a baking dish. Take the thyme and bay leaf out of the sauce and coat the leeks with it.
- Before serving, add lemon juice.
- Note:
- You can eat this cold or warm, and it is particularly recommanded for low glucid diets ratehr than for hypocaloric diets.
