Onions and Potatoes au Gratin

Ingredients for Onions and Potatoes au Gratin :

  • 300 g potatoes
  • 400 g onions
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 egg
  • 20 g butter
  • 3 tablespoons parmesan
  • nutmeg
  • salt
  • pepper

Technical stages for Onions and Potatoes au Gratin :

  • Boil the potatoes for 20 minutes.
  • Peel and ciseler the onions. Sweat them over low heat for 10 minutes with the oil, slowly stirring.
  • Preheat the oven at 200°C or 392°F. Drain the potatoes and mash them. Mix the onions, mashed potatoes and egg.
  • Pour in a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan. Add chunks of butter on top. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve in the baking dish.
