Ingredients for Leverknepfle :

  • 500 g pork liver
  • 200 g fresh bacon
  • 250 g breadcrumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • parsley

Technical stages for Leverknepfle :

  • Chop the liver and bacon. Chop the onion and parsley.
  • Mix everything with the eggs and breadcrumbs.
  • Form small sausages and dip them in salted boiling water. The sausages are cooked when they come back to the surface.
  • Take them out of the water and serve them warm. They usually come along sauerkraut.
